Is it the tonearm? The constant circular motion? Turntables always seem so... masculine. The idea that came to us in the hustle and bustle of the 2006 High End trade fair, when we saw the women who, to put it mildly, seemed a little dissatisfied, was to bring a quasi-feminist turntable to market. Conveniently, it comes fully assembled, with a pre-adjusted cartridge and tracking weight, a breeze to set up, and the whole thing comes in—wait for it—pink!

The little sister of our larger drives was born. The hi-fi community initially fretted and ridiculed it, but to our own surprise, the Pink Diamond sold almost as many times as the Black Diamond.

Katie Melua was the world's first proud owner of this model (although she eventually opted for plain black), which she still enjoys to this day. Her Scheu Diamond can be seen several times in her album teaser on YouTube .

The Diamond is equipped with a Rega RB 202 and a Benz Micro MC Silver, but is also available without a tonearm. We can manufacture armboards for all tonearms currently on the market. The pivoting armboards also allow for the installation of 12-inch tonearms. Up to three tonearms are possible.

The sound

The sound of the Diamond is particularly powerful for smaller ensembles such as singer/songwriters, jazz and chamber music thanks to its very nice resolution and intense spatial depth.

Versions

Colors:

Pink, elegant, and solidly seductive – that's the "Pink Diamond." The Diamond is also available in black and transparent, among other colors. A slate frame is also available.

Turntable: The precision-machined acrylic turntable comes in a matte finish as standard. It is also available polished upon request for a small surcharge.

Motor housing: The motor housing is machined from solid aluminum and is available in either black anodized or high-gloss polished finish. Dark drives are supplied with a black motor housing as standard, while light/transparent drives are supplied with a high-gloss polished one.
